A Vision for Sustainable Agriculture

EggCellent Farms was founded with a clear mission: to combine ethical farming practices with cutting-edge technology to address South Africa's growing demand for fresh eggs while pioneering sustainable protein production through Black Soldier Fly (BSF) technology.

Our integrated farm model brings together three core operations: pullet rearing, commercial egg production, and BSF waste upcycling. This unique approach creates a closed-loop system where chicken waste is transformed into high-quality animal feed protein and organic fertilizer.

With confirmed capacity exceeding 125,000 layers and strategic locations in Centurion and Hammanskraal, we are positioned to be a leading supplier of fresh eggs and sustainable protein solutions in Gauteng.
